SHE HIRED A PRIVATE EYE. Secrets abound in this tale of blackmail via classic films. With the help of an oddball private eye, Camay tries to unburden herself from this predicament and discovers a new future. 

Life has never been fair for the non-wealthy in the U.S. but becomes even less so after Congress passes the Two Genders Law. While Ivy Castro questions her capacity to serve the public as a law enforcement officeress under Two Genders, she narrows her focus to one of the law’s ill effects—limiting a teen city event to boys only. Recruiting the help of a Two Genders protester and an online influencer, Ivy fights back, discovering more about herself and the people around her.

When Dick is late for an island wedding, a storm leads him and a stranger to an abandoned lighthouse. What will they learn about each other, and what will they learn about others once they reach the island?
